About Me

I’m Joe Kowalczyk, a licensed Real Estate agent in Maryland with CENTURY 21 New Millennium and a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP). I am also a retired U.S. Navy Veteran who upon retirement decided to make Maryland my home, due to the state’s rich history, access to multiple recreational activities, and moderate (winter) climate—a place where you can enjoy all four seasons. On a more personal note, I have been happily married for 30 years and have a married son who also lives in Maryland. We settled down in Southern Maryland after I retired for a number of reasons, but primarily my wife’s family lived there, and the D.C. Metro area had fairly robust job market. If you feel compelled to escape for a weekend retreat, you can be skiing in the mountains of West Virginia, pitching an umbrella on a sandy beach in Ocean City, or viewing fall foliage in the foothills of Virginia or Pennsylvania within 3 or 4 hours. Closer to home, you will find an endless list of historic sites, museums, nature trails, and other family-friendly recreational activities.

I served my country for 26 years, so I know the stress and challenges families incur relocating to another area and getting settled in a new environment. I know because I moved my family a dozen times during my military career. Finding a new home is often a challenge when base housing is limited.  Other challenges include finding daycare or a new school for the kids, spousal employment, and commuting distance to where you can find affordable housing. These, along with countless other factors contribute to the anxiety families endure when relocating. I acknowledge the difficulties in moving to a new area and will endeavor to address your real estate concerns and get you settled in your new home.

Mission-Focused

I’ve been mission-focused throughout my career, and I learned early on that without the people with the requisite skills, you will struggle to satisfy mission requirements. My mission is to assist you and your family’s relocation (whether buying, renting or selling) and get settled so you can focus on your mission. My goal is to assist your transition, reduce some of the anxiety in moving, and make this move a positive experience.

My Commitment

Provide you with professional relocation services. Provide advice and coordinate marketing activities for the sale or purchase of your home.

  • Honor: Acting with integrity
  • Diligence: Representing your interests with meticulous care
  • Commitment: Serving you well
